A metamorphosis from humble flat into a striking maisonette. A new entrance hall was formed to the apartment which slews out at an obtuse angle over the stair in homage to clients penchant for Absract Art. In a further phase structural gymnastics had to be performed to convert the steeply pitched attic into his and hers studies. The space is animated by two large dormers giving dramatic views to the Pentland Hills
